The Life Skills Centre is located above the small row of shops at 128 Sandy Lane Skelmersdale. The centre is open between 10am and 4pm Mon, Wed , Thurs and 10am-12 noon Fri and is staffed by sessional staff and volunteers.On Tuesdays all day and Friday from 12 noon the office is closed as these times are used for activities outside the office.
- We offer a seven point program
- Support work and drop in to the Life Skills Centre Mon Wed and Thurs 12-4pm
- Esol Mon and Thurs 10am -12 noon
- Other qualifications eg maths and Food Safety Wed 10am-12pm
- GP and Dentist Registration 1pm-4pm Wed.
- Online Driving Theory Fri 10am-12pm
- Swimming or other sport as arranged 1pm -4pm
- Other cultural and volunteering opportunities Occur as timetabled
- Volunteer- adult literacy help is required and special volunteers are needed to mentor language development through reading
